Job Description

Cianbro Fabrication and Coating is looking for experienced, safety-minded Structural Steel Fabricators for shop work in Pittsfield, Maine. This position offers a fixed base location, competitive wages, and a challenging career. The wage range for this position is $18 to $24 per hour. Compensation will be determined based on knowledge and experience.

Job Responsibilities

• Performs all types of industrial/automotive painting work.
• Prepares various surfaces for painting.
• Paints buildings, structures, and any kind of construction equipment using a brush, spray gun, or other applicators.
• Paints steel structures, cement, drywall, wood surfaces, and all Cianbro Equipment from start to finish.

Qualifications/Requirements

• 5 years of experience in the industrial/ automotive painting trade.
• Considerable knowledge of industrial/automotive applications and appropriate coatings for painting in a shop environment.
• Ability to work on any surface prep and work with all different coatings (epoxy, urethane, enamels, etc.) independently.
• Ability to make minor repairs on equipment and wear full-face respirator/PAPR.
• Ability to utilize Blueprint coating specs and masking.
• Ability to work at extreme heights in various weather conditions.
• Fabrication experience is a plus.
• Extensive knowledge of safety standards/precautions pertaining to painting and the ability to read and follow MSDS recommendations and requirements.
